LATEST STUDY

Our Latest Study for Veterinarians:

Horizon Immunology is currently field testing canine parvovirus antibodies in dogs and cats.

Early testing is showing great results. We are measuring serum and saliva for canine parvovirus antibodies in both dogs and cross reacting antibodies in cats. This study is for participating veterinarians.
We want to answer the question of whether or not having pre-existing protective levels of antibody prevent response to vaccines.

We are currently seeking 100 dogs and cats of all ages and especially those with medical problems. We are seeking clients who will allow their dog or cat’s serum and a saliva swab to be tested twice:
1) Just before their DHPP or FVRCP booster
2) 3 weeks after the boosters.

The test is no charge to participating veterinarians if they also have the dog or cat's saliva swab and serum tested in the same manner 3 weeks after their vaccine.
This important information will help to see whether pre-existing anti-canine parvovirus antibodies block vaccine response.

Give us a call today to get enrolled and to answer any questions.

We are enrolling 100 cases to start!
